Amazon DSP Specialist

Modifly is seeking a full-time Amazon DSP Specialist to join our team of performance marketing experts. In this role, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Amazon’s Demand-Side Platform (DSP) to build, optimize, and manage advertising campaigns that drive measurable results for our clients. Working within an advertising and performance marketing agency, you’ll play a critical role in expanding our programmatic advertising capabilities and delivering impactful solutions tailored to each client’s unique goals.
This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a passion for performance marketing. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including media strategists, creatives, and account managers, to craft and execute strategies that maximize client success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Build and manage Amazon DSP campaigns from start to finish, including setup, budget allocation, audience segmentation, creative trafficking, optimization, and reporting.
    • Develop comprehensive advertising strategies leveraging Amazon DSP capabilities, including audience targeting, programmatic video, display, and OTT/CTV inventory.
    • Conduct audience research and segmentation to inform campaign strategies and enhance performance through precise targeting.
    • Optimize campaigns daily to achieve key performance metrics, including ROAS, CTR, CPA, and other client-defined KPIs.
    • Analyze and interpret campaign performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Monitor pacing, delivery, and budget allocation to ensure campaigns meet or exceed client expectations.
    • Partner with internal teams to integrate DSP campaigns into overarching media strategies, ensuring consistency across channels.
    • Troubleshoot campaign issues and implement solutions promptly to maintain consistent performance.
    • Stay up-to-date on Amazon DSP tools, features, and best practices to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports and performance updates to clients, articulating results and providing strategic recommendations.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure ad assets meet Amazon DSP specifications and align with campaign goals.
    • Explore opportunities to expand service offerings by testing new Amazon DSP features and capabilities.
    • Mentor and train team members on Amazon DSP fundamentals and campaign management best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing campaigns within Amazon DSP at an advertising or performance marketing agency.
    • Expertise in the Amazon DSP ecosystem, including advanced audience targeting, programmatic inventory, and optimization techniques.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
    • Proficient in campaign management, including setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting.
    • Familiarity with Amazon Advertising tools such as Campaign Manager, Sponsored Ads, and attribution dashboards.
    • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale budgets while optimizing for ROI.
    • Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex strategies and results to clients and internal teams.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising landscape, particularly within retail and e-commerce sectors.
    • Experience with DTC and e-commerce brands is highly preferred.

    • Hybrid work schedule requiring 2–3 days onsite in San Diego, CA

$70,000 – $85,000 a year
