A Modifly Executive Client Strategy Lead is a proven expert in agency account management, media strategy, and people leadership. In this role, you will lead a nimble account team, managing and growing key client relationships while driving business growth and ensuring delivery excellence.As a vital member of the Executive Leadership Team, this position entails the following key responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development: Proactively grow existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue and expand the agency’s footprint.Delivery Management: Oversee end-to-end project delivery to ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and on budget.Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality across all client deliverables and ensure consistency through cross-departmental collaboration.Resource Utilization: Manage the Account team’s billable utilization and align staffing resources to meet project demands effectively.Strategic Staffing: Design and implement strategic staffing plans to support current and future client needs while fostering team growth.Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted partner to key clients, driving satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth through strong communication and value delivery.Team Capabilities Roadmaps: Define and execute plans to evolve team capabilities in alignment with client needs and industry trends. Provide clear positioning and language around existing and emerging services.Department Leadership: Champion the growth and success of your team through performance management, onboarding, feedback, and mentorship. Cultivate a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Executive Presence: Demonstrate thought leadership, executive-level communication, and active involvement in the broader industry community. Represent Modifly with credibility and confidence.Internal Motivation: Foster a strong team culture by building trust, promoting collaboration, and strengthening ties across the Executive Leadership Team.Hands-on Collaboration: Lead by example with a strong understanding of media strategy and account operations. Be willing to roll up your sleeves to support the team when needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- 12+ years of experience in an agency setting focused on sales, business development, or account management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience managing strategic client relationships in a media agency environment
- Deep understanding of performance media strategies, campaign planning, and media services
- Demonstrated success in achieving P&L goals and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership skills and a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align account growth with broader business objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Hybrid work schedule requiring 2–3 days per week onsite in our Chicago, Cincinnati, or San Diego offices

Salary Range: $150,000–$180,000/year
